Clearly you must be young and not aware of the past

Roughly 80 games and 1 Vanderbilt win for every 3 Alabama wins. Things were more balanced till the Bear went to Tuscaloosa.

Fun fact in 1941 Vanderbilt beat Alabama 7-0, with Bear Bryant as a Commodore assistant coach. When I researched to double check this I learned something I didn't know about Coach Bryant in WW2.
