Jalen Hurts
Not a troll thread, but a serious question to Bama fans. How good of a passer is Hurts really?

Hurts is extremely cool under pressure and a great athlete, but my impression is that Hurts benefits from Kiffin's schemes and play calling which allow for easy completions. Hurts looks inaccurate when throwing the ball downfield on routes 15 yards plus. Hurts completes some longer throws because receivers are so open. Hurt left a lot of yards off the stat sheet against Rocky Top because he couldn't hit receivers in stride.

Again, not a troll, just seeking honest evaluation.

Lets put it this way. Hurts' NFL potential is ZERO.

Definitely not an NFL arm, but has good running instinct and a good enough arm to be very effective in college. I don't mind if his completion rate drops to 50 percent, as long he doesn't throw interceptions. He seems to better at making decisions on when to run and when to pass.

Because a true freshman's first 7 games tells you everything you need to know about how they will be in three our four years.
