Again, I'm not trolling Bama fans. LSU hasn't known great QBing since Tom Hodson (I'm dating myself). And there will be LSU fans who will reply that Mauck, Russell and Flynn were great QB's in college, which they were not. However, my point is that if Bama can be beaten this year it will take a team with a defense that can limit Bama's running game and force Hurts to pass from the pocket and be able to cover Bama's receivers. Is that not accurate?

I disagree with a lot of people in here. Sure, Hurts has some freshman misses, but he is a good passer. He can make all the throws, and has- including passes 20+ yards. He is top twenty in the nation at completing passes that travel 20+ yards in the air.
Look at his stats. He has had good passing days in the majority of games this year. Of course his timing isn't going to be the best, he was throwing to high school WRs just a year ago. Also, our pass pro has been suspect this year, so the fact that he's been able to pass as well as he has is very impressive.
I'd give him a solid B in passing performance this year.
A grade of C just isn't very accurate IMO.
