Shades is on the far east end where 98 and 30A intersect(by Rosemary Beach). Good beer list, good wings and consistent(we eat there regularly). Will be a good place to watch SEC action, before you head down to Stinkys for the LSU game of course, but it is a little hike back to San Destin.

Go to the Destin Harborwalk and barhop,
Might be the worst advice ever given in the history of advice.

What about Quigleys?
It is pretty close to our condo.
Last time i was there Twisted Palms was closed. I love Johnny O's to watch a game

OQuigleys is not what is used to be IMO. It was once a Irish pub/sports bar and it was money...now it's Oquigleys Seafood steamer. Back in the Irish pub days it was great for football and fights.

Sandestin is about your only option on the Mirimar Beach side. Truth be told, there's really just not any place that great to watch in the Baytown area. If you're into a quiet, more secluded environment where you can scream and cuss the Tigers at your own volume.. head over to the Marina Bar at the Sandestin Marina just before you get to the Baytown area. . Cool little spot with room for about 50. It is the very definition of a bar-shack on the beach...lots of charm IMO.
If you want a more spread out louder environment...it will be well worth the trip up to the Harborwalk area for gameday. Tailfins is really nice and has 3 different stories to watch on. Each story has a little bit different vibe, 3rd being my favorite. AJs is another option but a little bit rattier. I'm sure the guy over at BoShamps will be showing SEC football as well.. hard to beat the food there.
If you don't want to make the trip all the way down towards HW, you can always catch it over at LuLus at Legendary.
Truth be told... I'd take them up on the Stinky's offer..

It's a bit of a chain but McGuires is also pretty nice place to watch games. Restraunt & Bar seating with plenty of TVs and they will roll out a screen here and there too. Irish Wake and a big arse Reuben makes for a nice change of pace.
But I'd probably do AJs if you are concerned for the game and atmosphere the most. The food is kinda meh.. Better seafood with still a good view= Harborwalk.
But I'd watch it at my place with my own drinks and get some smoked tuna dip from Sexton's seafood market

This is the one we are looking at or staying at the condo and cooking steaks.
