Do we hold on to Najee Harris with how well our RBs are playing?

Don't see why not. If he is as good as advertised, he sees that Saban plays talent.

Do you really want someone who isn't willing to compete? I would love to have him but if anyone thinks, BB8, that they should be given a position instead of working for it they will quit on you in a heartbeat.

Bama is fine at RB either way.

What we really need are DL beasts.

Isnt this why he committed to us in the first place? Because we give our RBs the best template to succeed.

Najee is better than what we have now. I will catch downvotes but it's the truth. No depth chart at any school is going to affect his decision. Mom loves Saban and Bama and I think he wants to be a part of the history that is being made in Tuscaloosa. Watch his film.

Random guess for 2017

Scarbrough plays a hybrid role of RB, FB, and H-Back.

Damien Harris retains the starting job.

Najee Harris gets 5-7 carries a game.

Jacobs is still the #2, probably becomes a factor in the passing game

Emmons is mixed in, still getting his 4th quarter carries.

Then in 2018 Damien Harris is gone, Najee takes over, Josh Jacobs spells him, Emmons becomes the #3 guy but sees a decent number of touches.

In 2019 with Jacobs and maybe Emmons gone, Harris gets big carry numbers.

Just random thoughts on how it could play it. Najee would get plenty of opportunity to shine before his Junior year, and then could breakout. At that point he's good to head to the NFL a proven back, but without too many carries on him.

Plus he probably has at least 1 ring.
