Shall we put you down as saying that it is the coaching staff and not the talent, then?

YES....I am not in the fire Smart camp but anyone defending a loss to Vandy due to talent is simply insane....Ole Miss I will accept....Missouri I would have accepted as being about equal....UT I was surprised we were in the same stadium to be honest....but Nichols and Vandy? We beat either one of them 99 times out of a hundred with a coaching staff on the sideline and just lining up and playing sand lot football...Hell Vandy would beat Nichols the way we should beat Vandy....it is simply inexcusable and not a promising sign for the future...

A new employee's best days are usually the earliest days they are allowed to perform on their own. It may not be "fair" to expect Smart to perform like a Journeyman Professional but he is being paid like a Journeyman and performing like an apprentice. Again, it took a monumental effort to come up a game plan as ineffective as ours was Saturday to allow a team with a talent gap like there is between UGA and Vandy to go on the road and not only win but DOMINATE our running game.

Missouri...somehow, always manages to do more with less. If everybody else could bottle that we would be a lot better off. I would rather be able to make players play way above their head than have tons of talent that under performs.

Of course, the ideal situation would be to have tons of talent that plays way above their heads!
