Copyright lies in the act of creation. That is, under the law, if you create it, it is yours and no one else's. You don't have to register it with any group or authoritative body.
So is that your picture or did you steal it without the knowledge of the copyright holder?
Oh, my sig pic? I am using that under the 'fair use' doctrine.
