Because te NFL (unlike college) is a specialists league. Zo would be getting paid to rush the passer and that's about it. No run stopping, little to no pass coverage. Your job is simply to produce pressure and sacks against their best lineman.

Agree to diaagree. If you can't stop the run, then you are a situational player.

If you are situational only, then you don't have as much value. Do situational sack artists have successful careers? Absolutely because sacks are the 2nd most important Stat in the league. But Carter isn't getting the QB in college. And his physical traits are average for the NFL. The average sack specialist is built lIke Carter if not better
