If Carter leaves after this year he will make roster, but it will likely be as an undrafted free agent. There are a lot of guys who get drafted on measurables and combine numbers, but they also have a decent highlight film to show people. Carter doesn't have that. For most GMs, late in the draft is all about value and so they might take a flyer in the 6th or 7th, but most will figure he'll be available to sign without wasting a draft pick.

This. Late round draft pick assuming he tears it up at the combine. When was Corn Washington drafted. 6th? 7th round?
