Given the loss to Alabama and all of the negativity surrounding this team , let's look at some bright spots thus far this season in this thread. I will list two:

Jared Cornelius-He has 19 receptions this year and is the yards leader among wide receivers on the team with 408. He is averaging 21.5 yards per catch and has managed to break open the last couple of games and make some great catches. I predict he has a huge game against Ole Miss this Saturday.

Devwah Whaley- Credit the coaching staff for getting this guy moved along slowly. He missed a key block that got Allen sacked this week but he made a couple very good runs against the Tide defense. He is averaging 6.34 yards per rush(75 yard run accounted for) and seems to do better every week.

Any others that you want to mention?

Hedlund is on the bench, and the new kicker made his only attempt.

I thought the offensive line played their best ball of the year in the second half especially considering we were behind too far for bama to respect the run.

RB blocking also.

Maybe a sign they're starting to gel.

I was one of the only ones on here calling this a rebuilding year and that expectations should be very reasonable. A great positive is the team looks a lot better that I would have expected.

I don't see any reason Arkansas cannot hang with anyone left on the schedule. Worst matchup is Ole miss, and we're all nervous about that one.
