If they canceled there last conference game if it meant they would go to Atlanta over UF? If they both only had one loss.

They should if it comes to that

Alabama should have cancelled the SEC title game in 2008. Had a 8-0 record versus UF's 7-1 record.

Why would they cancel vs Vandy??
IF you're going to cancel a game, cancel vs Bama...

LSU fans melting more about this than VOLS is quite strange if you ask me

Yes since it's vandy but this does bring up another question.
Are there rules dictating when foreiture/cancelation is and isn't allowed? Going with your topic, if a team alreayd had the division sewn up heading into the last week and they were playing a conference game, would the league even ALLOW them (not even talking about the logistics, money, embarrassment, etc) to say "nah, we're not playing this weekend"?

I don't see how the SEC would let them in that situation. But after yesterday who knows. Butch would definitely be down.

A better scenario is they cancel the game against Bama, since UF did not play LSU (Cross Division Rivals).
IMHO, the loss to Bama should not count against UT.
