Is it really that hard to understand why LSU wouldn't be in favor of the economic forfeiture of cancelling a home game, so that UF doesn't have to do the very same this weekend by moving the game?

LSU isn't asking for anything they wouldn't do themselves-FACT. The precedence of playing a neutral or away site for these occurrences has long been set, by multiple SEC schools. It comes with the territory

To ask another school to take the financial hit so that you don't have to is chicken shite. To take advantage of this situation and cancel because you're not at your best, is also chicken shite. So which is it?

That doesn't even address the other schedule implications why this would make this a sour deal for LSU. Make no mistake, this isn't about safety. Safe was offered and refucsed. If UF is sincere, pony up the financial loss you're asking LSU to incur, that you wish to avoid, and then maybe I'll listen.

Dammit, fricking awesome summary. I got a lot more ammo to add, but this hits the nail.

...just for shits and giggles though, did that dumbass Foley actually wake up this morning surprised that Matthew took a "dramatic turn to the west"? Do they not have a weather station in Gainesville?

No, but it isn't hard to understand why they didn't want to play in BR either.

They will be cancelling an 11/19 game as well. There's a hurricane that's killed over 250 people heading their way. It doesn't matter what's been done. The game isn't being played this weekend. @LSU Fanbase: Quit throwing a temper tantrum.

I've been busting LSU balls today, but you're right.

Honestly, the game should have been moved to a neutral venue.

It's a conference game, and UF slow played this shite until Thursday.

It's fricked up, plus it may have real consequences for ATL. Makes the conference look unprepared and stupid.

I would guess they decide to cancel the game, instead of lose their home game revenue and pay you to play the game.

Why should Florida give a shite about your ticket revenue or "economic forfeiture"? If you don't want to play on 11/19 then that's fine with us I guess.

See you in Atlanta
