Don't know why an Aggie is saying this but I see your argument and I'll raise you this--
UF was fine with keeping it there all week and was not afraid of a "tropical storm". "We know how to handle a hurricane," they said.

why is it only NOW that they're afraid of it? people were literally screaming for action to be taken, yet UF's admin brushed it off and took on the mentality of its fans didn't think anything of it.
it's only now that they are staring straight at Matthew that they are afraid of it, knowing full well EVERYONE told them to expect the worst.
