It really has very little to do with buildings and wind. Wind was a non factor. It was the pumps, which is something most of Florida doesn't need or have. The comparison is off base and distracts from the real point of why LSU fans are making a mountain out of mole hill:

Its just a bad rain storm. We eat 4 inches of rain for breakfast every week. And 25-35 mph winds is easily dealt with. These guys are acting like Jupiter's Great Red Spot is about to go in dry without a reach around on Gainesville. Hysteria at it finest.
