A&M Basketball and BK are like that sweet girl from your hometown that you passed over in HS and college in favor of chasing the hot piece of tail (A&M Football).
Sure, the hot girl brought you some thrilling moments, even made you feel good about yourself. She screwed up plenty of times before, but she promises it'll be different this time. And it is for a while. You have a couple house parties (UCLA, PV), you go on an extensive vacation together (Auburn, Ark, SC). All the sudden, you're so in love again that you can't wait to show her off to the world (UT). Now even your friends think she's changed too.
But then you find a text message from another guy on her phone (Bama). She assures you it's nothing, and you believe her (NMSU). It was just a text message, it's fine. Remember the Auburn trip and all the good times you had there?
But then you're walking by a restaurant on your way home from work and see her sitting in the booth by the window with another guy (Miss St). You shake it off. That's not her. You were just mistaken. It was another girl in the booth.
After the next week though, there's no denying it. You walked in on her in bed with the other guy in your own house (Ole Miss). You're angry, frustrated, but mostly just sad. Why did you let her do this to you again? Why did you trust her with your heart?
You go home to take some time to yourself and who do you run into? That hometown girl that you've been ignoring.
And she looks good, she shed that freshman 15 and then some. She talks about how she earned her Masters and started a great job. You agree to meet up for lunch tomorrow (USC).
You walk off smiling. Because deep down inside, you know that she's been there waiting for you all along, and that she's really the one for you.

There's a counter to this, but I'm not ready to shite all over a good thing just yet.
