Perhaps more importantly, how good are the guys who stayed? Peter thinks that doesn't matter.
I am not authorized to speak for Peter.
But I would assume his point is that with our shittiest 3 star 3rd stringers, we should beat the dog shite out of Nicholls St. We should not have 45 unanswered points against us at Ole Miss. We should not have been in a dog fight against Mizzou.
I'm in agreement that recruiting has been lacking for a long time here.
But there is a coaching issue as well. Kirby is new, so he gets a honeymoon period on coaching. But he damn well be recruiting in the top 5 right out of the gate.. which he seems to be so far.
My hope is we don't go total dumpster fire and lose some of the 5 stars on the radar.

No need to distract him Jefferson. He has enough issues from his playing days.
Ole miss was a perfect mismatch exacerbated by our other weakness'. Thankfully our guys didn't quit, or it would have been 59-0.
Nicholls was a stubborn experiment gone wrong exacerbated by chubb and iMac fumbles, and more WR drops, and awful kickers.

Some of the kids on the OL/DL who were at the OM game said that the loss only underscored the need for impact players, and that they were told by the coaches how much they were needed.
