Even Ryan Mallet (as skankish as he was) had success at Arky after leaving Michigan. Those are just a few off top of my head. I'm sure there are more.
None of those guys left mid-season, not even Mallett. The negative feedback regarding Barnett is due to him essentially quitting the team mid-season. Remember Gunner Kiel? He actually had some success after eventually landing at Cincinnati, but still got beat out (albeit after going down with an injury).
