The thought occurred to me tonight as I was driving into work.

If it wasn't for the dirty play that injured Shaw in the preseason, he would be running the bears offense right now. Makes that hit and injury to Shaw feel even more dirty than it was.

Oh I definitely agree.

He texted a picture of his leg the other day ... looks like it was run over by a tank. Totally black and blue even now. Made me cringe just looking at it ... I mean serious sympathy pain.

He says he's going to be ready for the start of next season though and no one should doubt that guy.

But yeah, I was watching Hoyer the other night and have no doubt Shaw would be starting by now.

People forget, Spurrier declined Russell Wilson's overtures to transfer here and flat out told him he'd have to ride the pine behind Shaw.

would be great to watch Shaw & Alshon get things done in the league. hopefully Connor will get healed up and be ready to take the job from Smokin Jay next July.
