Gimpy Fournette, below average QB, underperforming WR, remedial scheme

Mizzou D turned the corner in the second half against Georgia breaking in a new scheme. We have players, especially in the front 7 and the new gap control scheme is a great matchup for what LSU does on offense. We also have a corner who can lock up Dupre.

I understand that LSUs defense is good, but the Heup train is putting up something in the 20s or better and I just can't see how LSU is going to be able to break that threshold

Look for Mizzou in the 20s and the Swamp Tigers in the teens.

no matter how many topic Mizzou fans start, we aren't going to give a frick about playing Missouri.

That goes for all-time actually, no one cares about you

You'd be better off leaving him wide open and watching him drop balls all night.

LSU fans are in the perfect position for this game. We can have all the optimism in the world about how our team is going to go out there with tons of energy and light Mizzou up, with the built-in excuse of we just fired our head coach in case we suck again.

It's great to be an LSU tiger. We don't even have to worry about being L6U this year, now that we've fired our coach. No one can gloat about beating us now(although they still will).

You know...I've been going back and forth on this.

As we all know, LSU fans have the biggest bipolar disorder of any fanbase in the SEC. Any given minute they could convince themselves that they are the greatest college football team of all time or that they'll never win another game. They've already went back and forth on this about five times in this season alone.

I was disappointed that they were in the manic low portion of their curve, but luckily they are starting to let themselves back into "we goin to da ship!" mode.

Apparently, I am going to get my long awaited melt and I couldn't be happier.

you need to get laid.

LSU fans are pretty optimistic about the rest of the season just because miles isn't running the show. A loss to Missouri won't change that because we'll just say it was chaos all week. It's a lose / lose for you if you're banking on a melt.

Nah, I think I'm getting my melt now.

That feeling could change following the ebbs and flows of your fanbase, but you baws are riding pretty high right now.

I don't really see how anyone can argue, to be honest. The good news is we're about to find out whether it was the players or the coaches holding the offense back.

How exciting.
