Is mullin an established coach? More established than Mac? Has he really proven himself at Miss St?

Dan Mullen is not an upgrade.
Stricklin is from my hometown apparently. We know some of the same folks, and he is, from what I hear, a great guy. He's also done a helluvalot more on a consistent basis for Moo U than Dan Mullen.
Is it that homecoming loss in 2010 or Tebow that still has some people interested in Mullen? He's had one 10-win and two 9-win seasons, the second of which came the year after that one 10-win season. He also had Dak Prescott for those two years. He's only had the team finish a season ranked twice. Hell, even Jackie Sherrill had three top 25 finishes in a seven year stretch, so it's not like he was doing the impossible. Plus, Jackie somehow backed them into an SECCG, which Mullen has yet to do. Mullen had one magical season, which included getting his #4 face kicked in by a #18 Ole Miss and then subsequently losing to Georgia Tech in the Orange Bowl. And that was his banner year. His clock management skills are only slightly better than Les Miles'.
I'll never understand the infatuation with that guy. He's a marginally better than average HC who can't recruit worth a damn and is pretty much universally acknowledged to be a complete a-hole.
