Because you're limiting your options by choosing a DC as a primary target.
UF didn't do it with McElwain,Bama didn't do it with Saban,UT didn't do it
with Butch Jones,AU didn't do it with Mahlzan.

The only 2 DC's with a history of success (if you want to call it that) in the SEC in the last
40 years are Mike Archer at LSU and Duboise at Bama and neither was sustained.
