Why do reporters waste their time asking coaches at schools

It's called doing your job. Petrine is not a legit option for any team not just LSU. He feels lucky to be in coaching and every school and media outlet piled on him. Louisville gave him his job back. Human nature says he will likely never leave Louisville. He will be at Louisville for as long as they let him.
