You're showing recruits change is coming on offense and they will continue to be able to recruit WR's and get better QB's or actually utilize the QB's talent.

No, you are showing recruits the guys who recruited them might not be around next year and that there is no certainty who will be there.

You are letting candidates know there is an opening.

They don't need months of vacancy "to know." A few weeks in December is enough. There is no proof more time than that helps anything. Actually I could see Herman getting tired of denying it for months as he prepared to a playoffs run while LSU fans demand some sort of certainty.

They are obviously looking to salvage the season and move forward.

Yeah but in that is the implication that they fricked up for not firing him earlier, hence my questions about the timing.

You would think you would be cheering the move if t was so horrible.

The recruits already knew this coaching staff had a chance of not being here at the end of the season. Those that would leave early would leave late so no big loss.

No you don't need all season to let people know there is a change, but the situation in the locker room could be deteriorating and becoming cancerous. If he stays you could lose a lot more recruits and the players completely quit. See Auburn 2012.

Of course Alleva fricked up but under the circumstances he made the right move.

Of course I know the board and you are now admitting you are only here to troll and flame. Congrats on showing your argument is a bad one and taking this line of argument to rustle LSU fans. You're so awesome.
