From my limited perspective, most of the problems at LSU seem to be related to Miles. I love Les as a person/human being but frankly he didn't seem to be a very smart coach. A good example was the final play vs Auburn. There was a review going which gave him plenty of time to prepare for the final play with just 1 second left on the clock. The focus should have been on having the Center snap the ball as soon as possible. Instead they fricked around and did not snap the ball immediately and time inevitably ran out before the play could be initiated. This is just plain poor coaching and a lack of presence of mind relative to the immediate circumstances. We have seen seen poor clock management by Les in the past and I would guess that the powers that be at LSU simply said enough is enough.
