This, Spurrier hated UGA more than anybody. The fact that we destroyed them, and they made Greyson Lambert look like Tom Brady was too much for him to handle.

You can argue that UA going down to the swamp and beating UF in 1999 killed UA's program.

It lead to Dubose keeping his job and then 2000 happened.

What a lot of people don't realize is, had Dubose lost to Arkansas in 1999 (the week after the La Tech loss), he was going to be fired and Stallings had agreed to come back.
