From 1993-2005 Miami was 3rd nationally in win% (78.3%) (Alabama was 49th during that span.)

Massively huge span of time.

Miami 6 years prior (up until Sugar Bowl):
65-4 (2 undefeated seasons, multiple natties, was going for the 4 in 6 mark before the loss)

Miami 5 years after:
41-17 (1 10+ win season, and one losing season)

Pretty decent decline.

More so than LSU's

LSU is currently 39-15 post BCS NCG. (2 10 win seasons, last year should have been 3 but a canceled game, and 0 losing seasons)
