We definitely killed the glory days Miami dynasty in 92. They were never the same.

Y'all keep wanting to take credit for killing Miami and to me it seems crazy. The 2001 Miami team was the most talented college team I have ever seen that Nick Saban didn't coach. I feel like any analysis that has Miami "dying" before say 2003-2004 is folly. Maybe they fell off after 1992, but they didn't become modern Miami (aka one I never expect to win a title ever again) until over a decade later.

Y'alls perspective is just kinda skewed I think. Y'all also think what happened between Bear and Nick was an abomination when I would give almost anything to see A&M have that level of success in my lifetime.

For the same reason I don't think 21-0 is a good answer. LSU is still a top 15 program right now. That is higher than the top 10% of college football.

Look I lived through it. I know a lot here didn't, but that 2001 was a mild resurgence and last gasp of the program. The work was done when the mystique was shattered in the 93 USF&G Sugar bowl. Compare before and after results at the years ends. They were no longer automatic favorites, recruiting fell way off. It was slow steady decline much like you are seeing with LSU and Miles now.
