91+ = Elite
85-90 = High Quality
80-84 = Above Average
70-79 = Average
60-69 = Below Average
Sub 60 = Poor
How do they determine the rankings? Do they take into account how a player is or isn't used and where or not that usage is proper (see Ingram, Mark for example of a franchise not using player properly)?
And if Julio and Amari are "above average" and "average" instead of High Quality or Elite, then I'm not sure I value their ranking system.
This catch is absolutely ELITE

PFF is interesting, but I have to believe it's far from consistent.
I also think bias creeps it's way in to their rankings and grades.

They are game grades. Julio has been good but he hasn't had huge games yet and he's dropped 3-4 balls.
I only watched Amari vs the Falcons, and he had some ups and downs as well.
Julio will be a 92+ grade by year end. He always is.

How do they determine the rankings?
Take a QB. I'm pretty sure they determine so many things that are just too subjective. How difficult was the throw. Not ever 80 yard completion is the same. Not every incompletion is the same. Was it the right read? Should the pass have been caught? Did the receiver just make a great play?
They do this stuff for every position. If the person grading likes one team, and doesn't like another, their grades are going to be very different.
One of their most picked apart grades ever was for a game the Packers played. Rodgers was like 30/34 for 350 and 4 TDs or something. They shite all over his performance and later apologized(I believe) because of how ridiculous the grade was.
