He is outstanding at diagnosing team tendencies and uncanny at calling plays before they take place. If you are a true college football fan and enjoy knowing what's going on from an expert prospective, you've got to appreciate the man.
He is the absolute best in the business. My only problem with him is that he knows it, and comes across as a little smug on the broadcast. That makes me irrationaly hate him during the heat of a game.
