We rushed 3 and 4 most of the game. The goal was clearly to make the pocket small and take away the middle of the field with the pass rush and dropping LBs. all the INTs were to the outside, where we forced him to throw as the game went by. You don't need 5 sacks to have a good pass rush strategy.
Mizzou chose to rush 5 a lot which put them in man situations ...they felt they could pressure Eason into mistakes and bad throws. Note the one int he threw was a zone coverage and he didn't see the guy sitting in the middle.
It wouldn't surprise me if we did similar against Kelly. You start doing a bunch of stunts and blitzes against him and he can beat you with his feet with rushing and stretching a play
