That was a wicked bounce. I really don't know if it could have been prevented. Thought it was interesting they didn't press their luck and try 2 in a row.

It wasn't a wicked bounce. It's exactly the bounce a good kick will produce. I don't mind the scheme because those guys created a great wall for Ridley with nobody near him, but Ridley ran up toward the ball. If he stays back he catches it without a problem. He's got to stay back and wait for the big bounce, which is always going to come on that kind of kick.

However, I would be lying if I said I remembered if the scheme has been the same over Saban's tenure. Hopefully we can figure it out, because we do seem to lose at least one of these every season.

It could have been played better but it was a perfect onside kick. That is exactly how you want it to go.

I'm used to those things happening though when teams play us.. They play their best game and we will always have to overcome that. It's just part of what we have become.
