Straw...when you have your third string QB playing and your offense is putrid...then your defense will look bad..why? Cause the offense is a 3 and out machine and the Green Bay Packers defense will look bad.

BTW we had just played South Carolina @ Columbia with said QB...and we only had 57 players board the plane and 4 were walk on special players, yet we took USC to the fourth qt with that "defensive geru".

You are in the vast minority when your views are contrary to a lot of football coaches...who think a lot of Boom...including Spurrier....but whatever..Im not going to change your mind...just food for thought.

Did you watch the presser when Boom was fired? Foley and the president were both close to Boom and the send off was something to behold....you just dont see someone fired and it looks like he was being hired instead. Boom had been very very popular in the athletics dept and all of the coaches in every sport liked him a lot. It didnt work out and he loved the Gators...but lets move on.

When this season ends, it'll be more than a little obvious that he's not cut to be a defensive coordinator or Head Coach. He doesn't adapt, his scheming is predictible.

Mac has had more success with fewer assets, Muschamp just permitted two teams to get near 500 yards on his defense (like when he gave up the most yards in school history to Alabama).

It's nice to think well of him, but let's be positive that Mac is doing more with less.
