The old saying is you will play like you practice. Ish is dangerous on passing downs but when you are trying to establish the run in a game it looks like there are better choices. The coaches don't agree though and they see the players every day.
How sweet it would be, and good for Lock, if we had a big time back that opposing defenses had to game plan against.
This is turning into a mystery at the zou. The only guy to beat Ish out of starting is Alex Ross.
Skyler Hunt and Abbington couldn't do it last year. Now Crockett and Strong.

Trust seems to vary among the coaches.
Witter is getting the ball because Crockett still needs to prove he won't fumble. Strong still needs to prove he knows the playbook and block. That's the story on RBs.
But as for the WRs, that's not the case.
Moore fumbles and drops balls, and Black continues with the mental mistakes.
So which is it? Should we give Crockett and Strong PT? Or bench Moore and Black?

Moore does not need benched just needs to quit being Lock's primary target all the fricking time. When he spreads the ball around we look really good. How many mental mistakes has Black made? I remember the illegal man downfield vs UGA but draw a blank on others?

Minor theory. On paper our best team should be next year. It seems like coaching staff if prepping ish for a big year next year. same case with what were seeing with the Chris Black scenario

Chris Black won't be here next year, because he's a 5th year senior.

Thats what i'm saying. even tho Strong is our best back, and black is our best Wr, we will see more of ish and other WR to prep for next year. Idk man. #conspiracy #bush #governments #harambe

Moore hasn't had any drop issues since the first game. In fact, that first long TD catch was a great grab because the ball was well behind him.

I could be overstating this, but this is what I've got:
1. Illegal man down field
2. Cut the wrong way on one of Lock's interceptions. That could have been Lock.
3. Two backs to return punt. Confusion almost caused a turnover.
4. ECU game, two players to receive kick with #1 on uni. Are you looking in the mirror when you look at the other receiver?

Moore makes big mistakes when the pressure is on
Johnson fumbles
Crockett fumbles
Black frequently doesn't know the playbook
Witter falls down in the breeze on game day

The trust issue must be big with the coaches. David Morrison said in his column on RockM that Witter was on the field for 61 plays, Crockett for 12, and Strong for 0.

The guy does not seem to have bought into being a Mizzou Tiger.
Very disappointed. Was excited when I saw his touchdown in the WVU game.
But now I understand why he's not getting first team reps.
I kinda want to say frick off to him and invest in people that will be here for years to come.

I feel the same way.
You'd think with this offense he'd be licking his chops to get in there and be the man. Especially if he has NFL aspirations.
Reminds me of Darius White.

Moore would be a hell of a talent if he could just focus an entire game. His problems come just when he is in the most important position. The 3rd down drop to keep the drive going, fumble with 1 minute left at the 50 or a drop in the end zone. With no pressure on him, the kid is a beast.
