Why defend it? There's nothing to defend, imo, and the trolls know it; they're just being flaming trolls. I thought that's the way it worked on tSECr???

Bobby P. is a great offensive coach, no doubt about it; anyone who has a problem admitting that is full of sour grapes. I'd be lying if I said I would not have liked to see how far we could have gotten with him, but he screwed that up, (pun intended ), not UofA.

His termination wasn't because he had a side piece; it wasn't a moral issue. By all accounts, everyone in the state, including Long, knew he had an extramarital activity going on. He rode her blatantly all over NW Arky on the back of his custom Hog hawg. The problem is that one can't hire his bimbo over many much more qualified applicants - even the appearance of such an impropriety is more than enough to fire someone. No one, certainly not Long, said he couldn't have said bimbo, but he couldn't put his employer in legal jeopardy because of her. That shite won't fly anywhere with any employer, no matter the business ... except probably the government - at any level.

Bobby P's enormous ego bit him in the arse. And that's too bad since he is a great offensive coach, but there was no choice for UofA except the one Long made. No reason to waste energy on trolls defending/explaining.

Frankly, more than anything, I question BP's judgment of allowing himself to obviously be used by some gold-digging, job-needing tramp who evidently knew she couldn't get this job on her own merits, so screwed the coach to get it. This wasn't some innocent dumbass undergrad kid being taken advantage of. She knew what she was doing; just wish BP would've.
