Please give us Florida and Tennessee back in addition to UGA and 'Bama.
You pretty much want the SEC pre-expansion back. I miss those days because so many more games on the schedule were rivalries and there was far more history between matchups. That said, give it time. It took Spurrier's big mouth and East, Tennessee roots plus Fulmer's straight man personality to make UF and UT into a rivalry and man what a rivalry it was in those days. I don't think that will happen again like that because it's making was unique and almost instant. But be patient, with the newer teams time and history will eventually make a few of them into rivalries.

He bragging about Auburns fans, students and alumni giving up on their team by not coming out for a game against a team that has demoralized them in their own Stadium two times in a row
So sad

SEC and National Championships?
Feel free to contribute. What is holding you back?
The Longhorns?
Those guys are just big jerks...I get it.
But, you have had over 100 years of existence to correct this particular situation.
What is the problem?

There is zero excitement on Auburn's campus
I mean, I'm not quite sure what the point of this thread was. I'm not reading through 11 pages of shite, but I'd say if there's no excitement it's more of an indictment on Auburn's fans than A&M's ability to travel. Maybe they all have figured out what the rest of us have known for ages... that Auburn sucks as a town and they just intend to get in tomorrow for the game and out as soon as possible? If your own fans can't get up for the game, why would anyone else?
Also... "SECWexit" request denied. Sorry Charlie...
ETA: Looks like a Bammer has already pointed this out for you at the bottom of page 1... sorry to restate the obvious. Will leave here for posterity's sake because... #LOLburn

Just asking:
If you didn't read through the 11 pages, then why do you feel qualified to post your opinion?
Are you some sort of magical expert, or just some idiot who can only offer a short-sighted opinion without taking the time to know the facts about a particular argument to begin with?
I see you support UGA.
Did you actually earn a degree from the University of Georgia?
Something tells me, no.

We NEVER sell out in Montgomery. Why would you even stay there?
They know better than to stay in Auburn-Opelika, but they don't know better not to stay in Montgomery.
Stupid aggies.

I don't need to read 11 pages to know that Auburn sucks and their fans are fair weather supporters.

OP was sufficient information to draw a conclusion. Home team not excited about home game against a ranked team in the conference... problem is not the away team.

Are you some sort of logical expert
FIFY, yes.

Again, OP provided sufficient information to draw the conclusion that I came to. If there is more that is worth reading, a) why wasn't it in the OP, b) feel free to provide the condensed version, but let's be honest. It's the rant... it was likely that at least 9 of those pages were "nuh uh, you're stupider" type commentary and other fanbases laughing at you.

Astute observation.

Undergrad yes. 2 of them. Graduate elsewhere. All of which would be considered higher quality education than an Auburn degree.

Something tells me you have a short-sighted opinion without any factual basis to make that judgement upon.
Thanks for playing...

Victoryland has a huge hotel that just opened up last weekend. Only 15 miles from Montgomery.
Why not try that?
Why not try that?

Auburn-UT and Auburn-UF have a great history. You also have a good mix of fans located within in the same cities, and the schools are a few hours drive from one another.
I hope to God Auburn goes back to playing UT and UF. Nothing personal against ATM and Mizzou, but it was good times back then and CLOSER. Don't want it to be like the ACC.

It is just like a game against Vandy or South Carolina.
Pretty much. The main difference being that Vandy and South Carolina have actually accomplished something in this conference. What that is exactly I can't bring to mind right now though.

"Fair weather"?
Please.
We have seen Auburn go 0-8 to 8-0 in conference and we never missed a beat while watching teams like UGA, Florida and Tennessee destroy themselves in mediocrity year after year.
I have seen Auburn in the National Championship game more times in my 20 year-old life than any of those before-mentioned teams will ever see in the next 5 decades.
Blame Auburn all you want. But you have no one really to blame but your own program if you are being perfectly honest in the first place.
UGA has certainly had its chances over the years. Quit being bitter and sore losers.
That is all on you.
Please.
