Yeah they didn't have much choice. Other states have laws preventing state schools to travel and spend money in North Carolina as long as the law exists.

But really ... that shouldn't have mattered. Those states that chose to do that should have, could have, had their teams sent elsewhere.

The whole process is too selective and subjective.

If we're talking about strictly enforcing Federal Law and adhering to strict civil rights issues (which is off times far more about political correctness and politics and catering to a particular voting base than anything) but when we're talking strictly about enforcing, or even observing, federal law ... what if other states refused to do business with a state that has legalized pot for instance? (Which I am a supporter of legalizing weed btw) Or what about sanctuary cities as another example.

But the NCAA has really opened itself up for some potentisl legal problems down the road by getting involved in this. It could be about anything and on any level.

I dunno.

I saw last night where TV ratings are waaay down for NFL games because viewers are tired of the politics. I hate seeing the NCAA make the same mistake ... but it looks like they are hell bent on doing it.

I'm glad Pastides and Tanner chose to stay out of it for now. One of several reasons why bidding down the road will be great ... but now is not a good time.

People need to get over themselves.

I couldn't care less who kneels. I'm going to gamble my arse off every Sunday in the fall.
