That's simply not true. What we have is an extremely young WR corps. Sure, the drops suck but does anyone thing this will continue. I'm confident they'll grow into themselves.

Define "WR talent".

We heard about drops in fall camp, and now we have seen drops in the games. If it continues, we will struggle.

I'm sure I am missing some, but the drops I have seen have been a couple or three by Chigbu and one by Nauta. McKenzie has done well as Terry Godwin. Reggie Davis has been pretty quiet so far.

We have plenty of talent. Its just that our talent can't get open and catch a football right now.

Georgia currently lacks receivers that can consistently beat one on one coverage downfield outside the numbers. Godwin and McKenzie have gotten the most targets, but they are both better suited to play in the slot.

Full Breakdown:

Godwin: catches the ball very well, natural athlete, very quick and elusive but not a burner, great after the catch, mediocre downfield blocker, lacks size

McKenzie: improved as a pass catcher, super quick and explosive, good top end speed, nightmare on the speed sweep, very small, willing but limited as a blocker

Chigbu: body catcher so has trouble with drops, good size, great perimeter blocker, limited top end speed, somewhat stiff

Stanley: similar to Chigbu athletically, maybe a little faster, good blocker, hasn't been targeted yet iirc, has trouble beating college corners 1on1

Davis: burner but not the most elusive or strong, mixed history as a pass-catcher, generally been productive, slight of build, decent blocker

Wims: big, destroyed a dude on a block last game, also had an OPI, effectiveness TBD

Ridley: seems fairly smooth and natural as a WR if not a all-world athlete, limited opportunities so far

Simmons: burner, not tall but good size, TBD as a WR

I think that mostly covers the guys who are near the rotation. Pretty average to below average SEC unit, frankly. At least until Wims, Ridley, and Simmons can make an impact.

I aint buying this shite. You got a experience in Reggie Davis who aint doing shite, and you got a 5* in Godwin who cant get separstion, run good routes, or hold on to the ball. The excuses are bullshite, we flat out suck at WR among other spots. Please come to terms with this.
