Know what's crazy, last Jan. I nearly talked TCU's Frog Club into giving me $10K.

remember there was a debate topic about TCU getting shafted out of the playoffs.

I pitched to them the idea to use the belt as a recruiting tool and to take it to booster club meetings and to give the team something to use as motivation etc.

I wanted to do a presentation at their spring game but it just took too long to get them to have their meetings and vote on it etc. Too many conference calls to just explain the concept and the belts couldn't be made in time to do a spring game thing for them.

I just kinda dropped it then. Maybe I should approach Draft Kings or some offshore betting site to back it. I'm not gonna waste any more time past tracking the games each week unless it can make some money beyond the original plan of signing up members at tailgates across the country.

I still think the current "playoff" is flawed. I support 12 ten-team conferences and 4 wild cards. Drop a season game or two, get rid of the patsy games, conference winners get in, top 4 ranked teams that didn't win their conference are wild cards and do a 16 team format and there's only 1 more game for the last 2 teams than they currently play.

I saw someone post the earlier in another post. Well done, had no idea one of our created this site.

I think it's pretty cool and could definitely see it getting some major traction with the right partner. Almost be promoting a "game of the week" just because of the Title Belt bragging rights.

Also didn't realize you were that old
