outside of the 2 loss national title season, Miles and Richt have very comparable resumes. oddly enough, UGA fans think UGA was the best team in the country in that season

not to mention Richt's thorn in his side was clearly UF, as since 2005 UGA has only beat them 4 times. Most of that was due to Meyer, who only lsot to UGA once from 2005-2010.
So the problem for UGA was not Richt; it is UF. Until UF or UGA decides to join the ACC, I don't foresee a coaching change really changing anything.
