In games against all other teams, LSU was 126-31 from 2000-2011 (80.2%). They've been 37-11 ever since, 2012-2016 (77.1%).
That includes the loss to Wisconsin. That's not much of a slide. Literally prior to the game against Wisconsin, the difference in those winning percentages was one single game. Had one single game that LSU lost from 2012-2015 against a team not named Bama had been a win, LSU's winning percentage against teams not named Bama would have turned out better from 2012-2015 than it was from 2000-2011.
Sorry, but you've got a Nick Saban problem, not a Les Miles problem.

The real issue with LSU folks is the head to head record with Bama. There would be no discussion about canning Les if L5U didn't happen.
They won't admit it, but that is absolutely the cause of their angst. The Wisconsin loss is merely a subterfuge to hide this truth.
