TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Alabama is relatively healthy heading into the Iron Bowl.

Three key players are banged up, but things are trending toward them playing against Auburn.

Running back Bo Scarbrough (knee), left tackle Cam Robinson (shoulder) and right guard Korren Kirven (shoulder) are all working their way back from injuries.

The Crimson Tide (11-0) hosts the Tigers (8-3) on Saturday inside Bryant-Denny Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.

“They have practiced and if they continue to make progress, they both will play,” Saban said of Robinson and Kirven. “Bo Scarbrough has practiced more this week so we’re hopeful he will continue to progress. Certainly looks a lot better this week. That’s about it.”

Scarbrough has run for 358 yards and 5 touchdowns on 62 carries this season. Scarbrough injured his knee in the LSU game on Nov. 5. Scarbrough has dressed and gone through warmups, but he hasn’t played in the last two games. Saban has said Scarbrough was cleared by the medical staff, but the team decided to hold him out of the last two games.

Since he stepped on campus three years ago, Robinson has started every game at left tackle. Robinson has played through injuries throughout his career at Alabama. During practice on Tuesday and Wednesday, Robinson was spotted wearing a brace on his left shoulder. Robinson injured his shoulder against Chattanooga last week.

Kirven has started the last two games at right guard after making the switch from offensive tackle. Kirven injured his shoulder against Chattanooga last week. During practice this week, Kirven wore a brace on his left shoulder.

What I like about this team is how we have basically broken the spirit of anyone that was expected to be a contender or highly ranked we played this season. It took USC almost to October before they bounced back. And yes I know they switched QBs, but the defense is the same that yielded 52 points to us. Ole Miss never recovered, Arkansas not really sure they should have been ranked, aTm never recovered, UT only enough to claim the Championship of Life, and LSU seem to have new life only to play us and realize they would need to replace their HC for the 2nd time this season.

The team just doesn't win on the scoreboard but it it strips the life out of teams. Maybe we can claim the Champions of Soul Stealing.
