If Ole Miss loses tomorrow, what does that mean for the SEC West?

I'm not sure how good USC really is, so it's hard to determine how good Bama really is, but one thing is for sure. That defense is insane. If Ole Miss looks pathetic against Florida State, what is the image of the west? I know anything can happen in the SEC, but I don't see any team in the west competing with Alabama. Auburn has the best defense next to Bama and LSU is a close third. Not sure about A&M. Arkansas is a huge question mark as well.

Predicting things based on week 1 is setting yourself up to be wrong, but I don't think the OM FSU game has a lot of implications for the west right now. Bama had a strong win, so any west team that takes them out they will look solid. FSU is a questionable team so if OM beats them it doesn't mean a whole lot (will still be a solid win for OM). On the flip side, if FSU beats OM, OM still has a shot at beating Bama to prove themselves.
At the end of the day, I think the SECCG is the only thing that really matters for this conference because it decides who goes to the playoffs.

it means that Alabama will win another n.c. and represent us well

Some people say some ridiculous things on here

I thought that was perfectly clear. OM beating/losing to FSU is not a great indicator of how the rest of their season will go. The Bama game will be a much better indicator.

Doesn't OM have an entirely new OL?

Well this might be the stupidest comment I've read this year

Yes, but they also have the only proven quarterback in the conference.

That's true. He may be the best in the country behind Watson.

How? FSU is not a lock for anything at this point.

Not entirely true...we are starting 4/6 that started Bama game last year

I'd say that kid for Alabama last night was pretty proven after the first few plays. Kid has a freaking cannon.

It means Alabama's going to ease to 12-0.

They're a fricking Top 5 team. Nobody is a lock for anything at this point. Are you dumb?

This is literally the only point I was making. Thanks for agreeing with me, I guess.
