I can tell you with confidence that after the fall scrimmages, Barnett is option #3. I'll leave it at that.

As far as the OP's question goes, it's almost a trick question. White will have better stats because he will be asked to do more in Auburn's scheme. As long as he stays healthy and isn't benched, he might play more than Hurts too. Everyone expects Hurts to play, myself included, but he's not been guaranteed a single play. At least White has been named the starter. All things being equal, I'm much more happy with Hurts being my QB than White but all things aren't equal. Numbers aside, if Hurts plays as much as I think he will, I think if you look back on this question in November, you will think it was a silly one. Hurts will have a much more promising season than White.
