Why do we need a plane when a car can suffice?

We are 1.25 hours away from Atlanta, 4 hours away from Panama City, 6 hours away from Tallahassee (Florida State), 7.25 hours away from Gainsville, 3 hours away from Tuscaloosa, 6 hours away from Tennessee (Knoxville), 5 hours away from Ole Miss, 3 hours from Athens and 6 hours away from Clemson.

But we all of a sudden need to book a flight to "exotic" College Station?

Then stay home. It's that simple.

You are 10.5 hrs away from Columbia MO. Most years you could catch a playoff game in STL on your way in or out if the game is in October. Come check out Meramec Caverns and Onandoga State Park. If the game is in November, bring your rifle, get an out of state license and any deer permit over the counter and take a trophy white-tail home with you.

Lots to do in the Show Me state.

Sorry. Many times, graduates of universities that are known to produce talented and well educated indivuals, are recruited to take high paying positions in corporations in other states and around the world. We then usually schedule a few trips to home AND away games each year. We purchase these relatively inexpensive things called airplane tickets, rent a vehicle and stay in what is known as a hotel (much like a motel that you are probably familiar with except with much better amenities and no exterior room entrances).

For example, I will be flying from my home to Atlanta and then driving to Auburn. Best of luck.
