I heard Eason has been working with the 1s running "catch up" plays, as is we were behind and trying to score quickly. Sounds like he is being prepped for an emergency backup role.

QBX is going to take 60 snaps on Saturday.
QBX is going to hand the ball to Chubb 20 times.
QBX is going to hand the ball to another running back 20 times.
QBX is going to pass shorties 10 times.
QBX is going to pass mid to long 10 times.
Whoever has the cleanest handoffs in practice will be the starter.

You start Eason and you box yourself in.....start Lambert and you have the flexibility to play Eason as much as you want based on how comfortable he is...or rotate him out if he's struggling. No pressure.
