In the 7 games Lambert started against SEC teams

-We averaged 25.2 points a game
-After Chubb went down, we averaged 18.6 with Lambert starting
-In the 3 non-conference games Lambert played without Chubb, we averaged 20 points a game.
-Lambert's stats in SEC
101-164, 61%, 1150 yards, 164.2 a game, 6 TD, 2 INT
-Lambert's stats in non-Chubb SEC games
41-62, 66%, 339 yards, 113 a game, 1 TD, 1 INT
-Lambert's stats in non-conference non-Chubb games
44-70, 62%, 522 yards, 174 a game, 2 TD, 0 INT

As you can see, Lambert was pretty much just there after Chubb went down, and if you take out the almost perfect South Carolina game, he was just there all season.

Are we going to win the East with Eason? Who knows. Are we going to win the East with Lambert starting? Hell no. Many forget we scored 9 points against an awful Missouri team last year. Or the fact that we had to go to overtime to beat Southern, and we still only scored 23 points. How about that big 13 spot we put up against a 3 win Tech team.

Technically, Lambert didnt lose us any games since we all got destroyed against Bama, and he didnt play against Florida, but he didnt do us any favors in many games we won.

Will we be better with Eason? I think so. I think he will throw more than 2 interceptions, but I also think that he will double Lambert's total touchdowns, and by just doing that, it could mean the difference in a couple of games if our defense isnt as good as last year since our front 7 has question marks, because you know Lambert isnt going to get in a shootout with North Carolina and put up the stats to win the game.
