He broke his leg right above the ankle. no ligament damage that they can tell about. He could still play later this season, but this sucks. He was 5/6 for 68 yds, 1 TD, and a 153 QB Rating. Also had 2 rushes for 15 yds. He had just about earned the back up job. Hoyer sucked going 8/17 for 70 yards and 0 pts. Shaw was about to get that job....frick, my heart breaks for the dude....

I saw the video ... it's all over twitter. Just gruesome.
The wife and I both texted him - she was crying about it. We've gotten to know him a little bit. He'll be at the Cockaboose again this year for sure now.
