I never understood Rick Perry's angle in pushing to close the journalism major at A&M. That made absolutely no sense.
I bookmarked this thread so we can see if my BAS/conspiracy mongering is warranted (like it has been the last 30 years).

Rick is dumb. He is a one move ahead in chess type of guy. In his mind journalists = liberals. So he killed it. Never mind the damage that does to A&M in the future by having no journalists who will defend up or cover for us or pump sunshine for us.
