If you come up 69 through Durant OK, McAllester OK...stop by Pete's Place in Crebs OK for lunch or dinner...Crebs is the first exit north of McAllester OK..Best Italian food I've ever had.

I don't know what the hotel situation will be in Fayetteville. It may already be booked up. A good location and great place to stay would be The Chancellor just off the square downtown. It's within walking distance to Dickson for night life and would save you on parking costs for the game. Hugo's is also located just across the block. Hugo's is a must stop for food one night.

If you can't get a hotel in Fayetteville, look north in the Rogers area. Any place near the Promenade will be nice. Don't know how "outdoorsy" you are, but there is a pretty good sized Cabela's beside the Promenade and a lot of shopping and food. It's a chain, but I'm a big fan of Chuy's which is on the west side of I49 across from the Promenade.

You can also spend some time in Bentonville. I'm not sure what everyone has said, but you can go and tour and check out the original 5 & dime...the original Walmart. You can also go and check out the Daisy BB gun museum in Bentonville as well. Kind of takes you back to your child hood and RedRider..."gonna shoot your eye out" type of thing. Most people don't know Bentonville is the home for them as well. I'm sure someone has also suggested Crystal Bridges. One of the most unique museums in the country.

NWA is a little different than most big city settings. No sky scrapers, no big town feel. Building codes limit the amount of signage and number of stories allowed in new builds. So don't expect a Tulsa, Little Rock, or Dallas type of look. It's spread out and the topography makes it look kind of country in a way. Most everything will be clean and new, as the area is one of the fastest growing nationwide since the 1990's. Though, Springdale is likely the biggest "eye sore" of all the metro, but it isn't too bad.
