We recently posted a story about anonymous SEC coaches making comments about Arkansas in Athlon. It’s one of Athlon’s annual offseason pieces that is pretty interesting.
Apparently GridironNow.com is so much of a fan it’s doing the exact same thing.
Who knows if these are the same coaches or not. Most of the quotes are basically the same as what we saw in Athlon. You can see the ones for the SEC West here.
However, there is one quote about Arkansas that certainly stood out. Let’s take a look:

Tim Horton, Dave Wommack or Rhett Lashlee are really the only options IMO. I doubt it was a head coach and those are the only three I can think of that are tied to Nutt and Arkansas and still coach in the SEC.
I would also lean towards no one said it and they're just angling for clicks.

I doubt any coach would ever make a comment like this on record to a reporter. calling "bullshite" on that one

Eh that's way too personal of a comment IMO to be someone that wasn't associated with the program under Nutt. The fact that they're trying to speak for the whole fanbase would lead me to believe it's also someone who has ties to the state.

i seriously (outside of the few fake arky fans on this board) have not heard a person say that. some may be skeptical whether he can win big here but i don't know anyone who outright dislikes bert nor thinks of hdn as a 'lot better person'. not one.

Yep,calling bs on this one.I can't imagine any coach being ignorant enough to say this to a reporter... unless in jest of course....
